Services

(YRP) empowers youth ages 14–17 and young adults ages 18–25 with the skills, support, and opportunities needed to build resilience and successfully transition into adulthood.

Through restorative practices, mentoring, life skills, education, workforce readiness, leadership development, and community connections, YRP helps young people strengthen relationships, resolve conflict, build accountability, overcome barriers, and create pathways toward independence and success.

We turn challenges into opportunities, strengthen connections, and help young people move from potential to purpose.

Peer to Peer Mentoring

PEER TO PEER & MENTORING

Our Mentoring Services support youth through prevention and early intervention, helping them stay on a positive path and build a strong foundation for their future.

Mentors provide one-on-one mentoring, home visits, school follow-ups, goal assessments, family support, resources, and educational and recreational trips. They work closely with youth, families, and schools to address academic, behavioral, social, and personal challenges.

Participants also complete a 10-week workshop series focused on life skills, positive decision-making, effective communication, personal growth, and leadership. Youth who achieve their goals may advance to our Peer-to-Peer Stipend Program, where they can earn a stipend while learning to mentor, coach, facilitate, and lead others.

“Each One, Teach One” — empowering youth to become positive leaders and help guide the next generation.

Guardian youth advocate

Guardian Youth Advocate

Our Guardian Youth Advocates provide consistent, one-on-one support to youth and young adults impacted by the juvenile and criminal justice systems. We believe in one guiding principle: We Do Not Break the Chain. Once paired with a participant, our advocates remain committed throughout their journey—from court involvement and community-based programs to detention, incarceration, facility transfers, release, and reentry. Guardian Youth Advocates provide mentoring and peer support, court advocacy, family support, justice-system navigation, approved facility visits and communication, letters, books and care packages, and connections to education, employment, workforce development, and community resources. Reentry planning begins before a young person returns home. Advocates work alongside participants and their families to build a pathway toward education, employment, stability, positive relationships, and long-term success. We meet young people where they are, walk with them through every transition, and help them successfully reconnect with their families and communities.

Passport to possibilities

Passport to Possibilities is an experiential learning program that takes young people beyond their everyday environments to explore new communities, cultures, cities, and countries. Through cultural experiences, community service, leadership development, and connections with diverse peers and leaders, participants broaden their perspectives and discover new possibilities. The program helps young people see beyond where they have been, envision where they can go, and build the confidence and sense of purpose to get there.

WORKSHOP

Our interactive workshops integrate trauma-informed care, restorative dialogue, and holistic support. Through skill-building activities, group discussions, creative methods, and individualized engagement, participants strengthen communication, emotional regulation, critical and consequential thinking, conflict management, leadership, accountability, and decision-making.

Youth Re entry

We provide continuity of support as young people navigate confinement, transition, and reintegration into their communities. Through trusted relationships, individualized guidance, court advocacy, skill development, goal planning, and connections to community resources, we help participants restore dignity, recognize their strengths, practice meaningful accountability, and build futures defined by possibility rather than their past.

community

Community Outreach

We help participants strengthen the relationships, resources, and opportunities that support them within their families and communities. Depending on individual needs, assistance may include continued mentorship, family engagement, educational and employment opportunities, behavioral health services, advocacy, referrals, and connections to community-based programs.
